IDEA & CONCEPT
an evolution of Legacy Quest
Rise of Heroes is our second game within the Legacy Quest Brand. This time I was able to concentrate on a redesign and an already existing structure with some flaws which we would clean out during the redesign process. The challenge was to stay in the very tight schedule. If I remember it correctly my first rough overview showed more than 3.000 files I would retouch in less then 10 months. In the end the result is pretty nice for the short amount of time and our small team. To be honest I am really proud to say that this was only possible because of the great organization and the big effort the whole Socialspiel team put into this game.
For me personally it was a big step forward in Unity and UI design wise.
the holy shape
In the first concept phaseI tried some different things but in the end we came back to the already existing shape of Legacy Quest. It defines so much the style of the universe that we decided to use it again.
